Entertainment Photos by Juan Carlos
is a contemporary Senior portrait and Professional Head Shot artist
serving McKinney, TX and the greater Collin County area including Frisco,
Allen, Plano, Fairview, Lucas, Melissa, Prosper, Weston, Princeton and
Anna. Juan Carlos offers on location portrait services in your home
or favorite outdoor portrait setting as well as in his studio located
in the Historic downtown McKinney. Entertainment Photos by Juan Carlos
Photography is available for maternity/newborn, children, family, high
school senior and bridal portraits. We
also offer Family Portraits, Wedding Photography,
Sports, Aerial, Event Photography, Mollage, Giclee, Digital Art and
Boudoir Photography.
I am a Colombian Artist. Born in Bogota, Colombia I came to the United States in 1973. I guess that makes me more American than Colombian. Although I was raced in the U.S I kept my roots strong through the support of my parents.
In 1985 I join the U.S. Navy where I had a chance to travel the world and participate in Desert Shield / Desert Storm Wars in 1990 - 1991.
I have always had a passion for the arts and photography. In 2006 I founded Entertainment Photos. Since than, I have developed a digital technique I call "Mollage" digital composite work to depict events, places, people or things.
I am passionately practicing my art of photography and digital composite work in the following areas:

I also teach CS3, CS4, CS5. My CS Classes last 3 hours and cost $265. You get to learn from a pro and my special techniques. Welcome to Entertainment Photos blog:
My name is Juan Carlos. I am a professional photographer in McKinney,
Texas. I service McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Plano,
Melissa, Anna, Fairview, Dallas and the
Metroplex. I have been in business since September 2006 and have been
practicing
my photography since I was a child.
I came to McKinney from Southern California and brought my experience
in working with Hollywood companies that
guided me into areas not always explored
by photographers in my industry. My level of expertise in digital art
is ranked
high in the photography industry.
I am a mentor to photographers wanting to get into the industry. As
the lead photographer for the "Star" newspaper
I help train sports photographers.
I love to photograph Children, Teens, Pets, Families, and Weddings to
name a few. One of my areas of expertise is in
aerial photography. It is a lot of fun
jumping into a plane and taking breath taking photos. If you ask me,
I would tell you
that it is one of the most thrilling
experiences.
Pet Photography comes easy for me. Animals of all types seam to like
me and trust me. I am able to take great photos of pets.
I am releasing my second "McKinney
Dog Calendar" in late October.
As a graphic designer, I invented the "Mollage" concept. It
is trade marked and will be patented. It depicts and event, time,
or place in one digital art display on
canvas. I always say, "Why keep portraits in an old dusty album
when you can hang
them on the wall for all to see."
My Mollages sure start crowds talking. It has been fun for me to bring
clients memories to life with my Mollages.
I also provide Santa Claus services. Entertainment Photos has a real
bearded Santa Claus which was featured at the
"Watters Creek Center" this
past December. Families brought their children for Santa photos.
Entertainment Photos also likes to give back to the community. We help
Jennifer Buchanan with "Smiles for Habitat",
the Samaritan Inn, Casa and many others.
Entertainment Photos also has the capability to service large events.
We have taken care of the Smothers Brothers,
Oakridge Boys, Chris Cagle, Little Big
Town and many others. Our crowds exceed 8,000 fans.
